Brampton Steelheads Unveil Exciting Plans for Inaugural Season Opener at CAA Centre
BRAMPTON, ON – The Brampton Steelheads are gearing up for an exhilarating debut at the CAA Centre, as they announced their highly anticipated home opener against the Brantford Bulldogs on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
After the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Board of Governors officially approved the relocation of the Mississauga Steelheads to Brampton, local hockey enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting the return of OHL action to the city since the departure of the Brampton Battalion in 2013.
“We are thrilled about the next chapter in Steelheads hockey! We will be proud to bring our Championship hockey to our new home and even more proud to do so as the Brampton Steelheads.” said Elliott Kerr and Kevin Borg, owners of the newly minted Brampton Steelheads.
