The Raptors will tip off their Summer League campaign against the Oklahoma City Thunder on July 13, offering fans a glimpse of the talent that could shape the team’s future.

Emerging Stars

Gradey Dick, 20, drafted 13th overall out of Kansas in 2023, is one of the key players to watch. In his rookie season, he averaged 8.5 points per game, with a 36.5% success rate from beyond the arc. Known for his sharpshooting, Dick is expected to be a pivotal player for the Raptors.

Joining him is Ja’Kobe Walter, the 19-year-old standout from Baylor, selected 19th overall in this year’s draft. Walter, named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year, averaged 14.5 points and 4.4 rebounds, showcasing his all-around game and potential to impact both ends of the court.

Additional New Talent

The Raptors have also included their other 2024 draft picks, Jonathan Mogbo (31st overall) and Jamal Shead (45th overall), on the roster. Mogbo’s versatility as a forward and Shead’s playmaking skills will be key assets for the team.

New acquisitions Ulrich Chomche and Branden Carlson, both expected to add depth to the center position, will be making their Summer League debuts.
