Ontario Unveils New Measures to Boost Skilled Trades in the GTA
Brampton – In a bid to address the pressing need for skilled workers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), the Ontario government has announced a series of groundbreaking initiatives aimed at making it easier for young people to enter the skilled trades sector.
The measures, unveiled by David Piccini, Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, include the introduction of a new apprenticeship pathway called Focused Apprenticeship Skills Training (FAST).
