VIMALIFE Opens Membership-Only Fitness and Wellness Club in Toronto’s Leslieville

VIMALIFE fitness club Leslieville introduces premium membership-only wellness space

TORONTO — A new membership-based fitness and wellness club has opened in Toronto’s east end, bringing a design-forward approach to training and community wellness in Leslieville.

VIMALIFE, an 11,000-square-foot fitness and wellness club, is now operating at 276 Carlaw Avenue, Unit 101 in the Leslieville neighbourhood. The facility officially opened its doors on December 1, 2025, offering a membership-only model focused on personalized training experiences and long-term health routines.

Located in one of Toronto’s fastest-growing communities, VIMALIFE was created to meet increasing demand for premium fitness spaces that emphasize both performance and lifestyle balance.

A Fitness Club Built Around Consistency

Unlike traditional high-volume gyms, VIMALIFE operates as a membership-only club, prioritizing a smaller, more consistent member base.

The concept focuses on building sustainable habits rather than short-term fitness trends, offering structured programming designed to support long-term training routines.

“Leslieville deserves something elevated but still grounded in the community,” said Marie-Pier Lalancette, partner at VIMALIFE. “We wanted to build a club where training is intentional, where the atmosphere helps you stay consistent, and where you walk in and feel taken care of.”

Boutique Classes and Strength Training

The club combines traditional strength training facilities with boutique-style studio programming under one roof.

VIMALIFE offers more than 200 studio classes each month, spanning multiple disciplines including:

  • Strength and conditioning training

  • Pilates-inspired workouts

  • Yoga sessions

  • Barre-style programming

  • Recovery-focused classes

The goal is to allow members to create a balanced routine combining performance training with recovery and mobility work.

A Community-Focused Wellness Space

Leslieville has become known for its independent businesses, walkable streets and strong neighbourhood identity. VIMALIFE’s founders say the club was designed to reflect that local culture.

Beyond fitness programming, the facility emphasizes hospitality and community engagement, including local partnerships and wellness events intended to connect residents in the east end.

The club’s interior design and service model aim to create an environment where members feel recognized and supported in their training journey.

Growing Demand for Wellness Spaces

As Toronto neighbourhoods continue to grow, demand for wellness-focused lifestyle spaces has expanded alongside residential development.

Fitness concepts that combine high-end training facilities with boutique class programming and community engagement have become increasingly popular in urban centres across North America.

With its location in Leslieville and its membership-focused model, VIMALIFE aims to position itself as a neighbourhood hub for fitness and wellness in Toronto’s east end.

Residents interested in learning more about the club can explore membership options or book a complimentary guest experience through the VIMALIFE website.
