Trudeau reiterated Canada’s unwavering solidarity with the Ukrainian people, emphasizing that Canada will continue to provide assistance until Ukraine achieves victory. The meeting also touched on President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s diplomatic efforts toward peace. Trudeau expressed Canada’s support for the goals of Ukraine’s Peace Formula and its broader victory plan.

Since the start of the conflict, Canada has provided $19.5 billion in diverse support to Ukraine, including $4.5 billion in military assistance. This aid package included the delivery of a National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS), which recently arrived in Ukraine.
Stefanchuk expressed gratitude for Canada’s contributions, highlighting the significant impact of its military and financial assistance.
