Headlining the championship is Miki Sudo, the world’s #1-ranked female competitive eater and the #5-ranked eater globally. Known for her exceptional eating skills, Sudo recently made headlines by winning the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, where she consumed an impressive 51 hotdogs in just 10 minutes. Her participation in the WPEC is expected to bring a heightened level of excitement and competition to the event.

The World Poutine Eating Championship will feature a star-studded lineup of top-ranked competitive eaters, including:

  • Geoffrey Esper (#3)
  • James Webb (#1 in Australia and #4 globally)
  • Darrien Thomas (#1 in Canada and #10 globally)
  • And other internationally ranked eaters

The championship is part of Smoke-A-Palooza, an all-day event celebrating music, community spirit, and of course, poutine. Attendees can look forward to performances by rock tribute bands, engaging entertainment, and a vibrant community atmosphere.

Smoke’s Poutinerie also extends its appreciation to Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited, the event’s Rock n’ Roll Legend sponsor, for their unwavering support and long-time partnership.

A special highlight of the day will be the Ryan Smolkin Memorial CEO Challenge in Support of We Care. This spirited two-minute poutine eating competition will see executives from major Canadian companies compete to raise funds for sending children with disabilities to fully accessible summer camps.

With a blend of thrilling competitive eating, musical entertainment, and community engagement, Smoke-A-Palooza is set to be an unforgettable event. Don’t miss your chance to witness world-class competitive eating and be part of a day that celebrates both community and culinary excellence.
