City of Toronto Unveils Summer 2025 Recreation Activities for All Ages

TORONTO – The City of Toronto has officially launched its Summer 2025 Recreation Activity Listings, offering thousands of fun and affordable programs for residents of all ages and interests. From soccer, tennis, and swimming to yoga, arts and crafts, and fitness classes, this summer’s activity roster is now available at: toronto.ca/summerrec

Summer programs — including camps — begin on Monday, June 30 and run until the end of August.

As the largest provider of recreation in the city, Toronto is offering:

  • 11,700 registered courses

  • 87,000+ non-camp activity spaces

  • ✅ Programs for all ages, including arts, general interest, sports, and wellness

🗓️ Key Summer Registration Dates

  • Friday, June 6 at 7 a.m. – Registration opens for After-School Recreation Care (ARC)

  • Monday, June 9 at 10 a.m. – Early registration for older adults (60+)

  • Tuesday, June 10 at 7 a.m. – Registration opens for Etobicoke York & Toronto East York

  • Wednesday, June 11 at 7 a.m. – Registration opens for North York & Scarborough

Residents must create a new online account in the City’s updated registration system, launched in November 2024. The system now uses email and password login instead of family/client numbers.

💡 Get Ready with a Wish List

To prepare, residents are encouraged to:

  • ✅ Set up their new account

  • ✅ Create a wish list of preferred activities

  • ✅ Attend a Registration Preparation Session (May 26–June 9)

These sessions help residents navigate the new platform, including how to register with or without a credit card and how to apply the Welcome Policy. More info: toronto.ca/online-registration-booking
