Toronto Mourns the Passing of Councillor Jaye Robinson: A Legacy of Service and Advocacy
Toronto, ON – The Greater Toronto Area is mourning the loss of Councillor Jaye Robinson, whose passing has left a profound void in the hearts of residents across the city. Mayor Olivia Chow expressed deep sorrow at Councillor Robinson’s passing, emphasizing her profound impact on the city: “Her decades of service with the City left an immeasurable mark on our city, and she will be dearly missed at City Hall and by her constituents in Don Valley West.”
As a tribute to her service, flags at Toronto City Hall and all civic centers will be lowered to half-mast. Additionally, the iconic Toronto Sign will be dimmed in her honor.
