Toronto Marlies Dominate Springfield Thunderbirds 6-3 in Home Victory

Entering the final frame with a 4-3 lead, the Marlies refused to take their foot off the gas pedal. Just 15 seconds into the third period, Toronto’s Mason Johnson widened the gap with an early goal, setting the stage for a dominant finish. A goal from Blake Slavin further solidified the Marlies’ grip on the game, leaving the Thunderbirds struggling to mount a comeback.
