Tim Hortons Unveils First Pet Toys Collection to Celebrate National Dog Day
TORONTO — Tim Hortons is bringing a new level of fun to its loyal customers’ furry friends with the launch of its first-ever pet toy collection. The new line, available on TimShop.ca and at participating Tim Hortons locations starting August 26, includes two playful items designed to delight dogs and their owners alike.
The collection features a plush Timbits box and a classic red Tims coffee cup, each designed to squeak and entertain. Priced at $12.99 each (plus tax), these toys are the latest addition to Tim Hortons’ expanding online retail offerings and are timed to celebrate National Dog Day.
“We’ve seen so many of our guests bring their pets along on their Tim Hortons visits, and we wanted to create something special for those four-legged friends,” said Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons. “These toys are a fun way for pet owners to include their pets in their Tims experience, and we’re excited to expand our pet collection with more items later this fall.”
The Timbits box toy nods to the popular Old Fashioned Plain Timbits, a fan favorite, while the Tims coffee cup toy reflects the brand’s iconic red cup. Both toys are available while supplies last on TimShop.ca and at participating restaurants across Canada.
In addition to the dog toys, TimShop.ca will soon offer Tims-branded cat toys and additional dog toys, expanding the brand’s reach into the pet market. This initiative aligns with Tim Hortons’ ongoing efforts to enhance customer engagement and expand its product lineup.
