Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival Kicks Off with Beggars Blues Banquet Fundraiser

Mississauga, Ont. – The award-winning Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival is set to usher in Shuffle Season with its highly anticipated annual Beggars Blues Banquet fundraiser on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at The Port Credit Legion in Port Credit, Mississauga.

Sponsored by RBC Wealth Management Dominion Securities, the event promises an unforgettable evening of music and dancing hosted by The Hogtown Allstars. The lineup features performances by notable artists such as Chuck Jackson, Matt Weidinger, Doc MacLean, Cheryl Lescom, and Lisa Goodridge’s tribute to Aretha Franklin.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in contests and win exciting prizes. They will also be among the first to explore this year’s Southside Shuffle merchandise and pick up the official festival program, which includes a comprehensive list of all the performers set to grace the stages over the weekend. The festival will transform the village of Port Credit and Memorial Park into a musical haven, with free performances at the LiUNA Local 183 Street Shuffle, The Not Another Restaurant Gazebo Stage, Queen Bea Stage, and ticketed shows at the Brightwater Mainstage powered by Visit Mississauga.

Tickets are priced at $50 each and can be purchased online at southsideshuffle.ca or in person (cash only) at Impressionable Gifts located at 74 Lakeshore Rd East in Port Credit, Mississauga. Pizza slices will also be available for purchase.

The fundraiser will be held on the upper floor of the Port Credit Legion, located at 35 Front St. North, Port Credit, Mississauga, ON. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with entertainment kicking off at 8:30 p.m. Free parking is available at the venue.
