Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign Raises $10.7 Million for Local Charities
TORONTO — The holiday spirit was on full display as Tim Hortons’ annual Holiday Smile Cookie campaign raised an impressive $10.7 million to support over 600 local charities and community groups across Canada, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. The initiative underscores the power of community efforts and collective generosity.
The campaign, now in its second year, has raised a total of $20.5 million since its inception. Every dollar from each Holiday Smile Cookie sold during the week-long event went directly to local charities, creating a tangible impact in communities nationwide.
Axel Schwan, President of Tim Hortons, highlighted the community’s crucial role in this year’s success. He said the campaign was made possible through the efforts of restaurant owners, team members, and volunteers who baked and decorated millions of cookies, as well as guests who eagerly supported the cause.
The funds raised will significantly benefit the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, which provide transformative experiences for underserved youth across Canada. The foundation has supported more than 320,000 young people in its 50-year history through multi-year development programs designed to help them achieve their full potential.
Tim Hortons, a beloved Canadian institution since 1964, continues to strengthen its commitment to community development. Through the Holiday Smile Cookie campaign, the company is fostering goodwill and creating lasting change one cookie at a time.
