The Macallan Unveils New Whisky Releases Celebrating Oak Mastery and Cirque du Soleil Collaboration

TORONTO – The Macallan has expanded its renowned Harmony Collection with two new limited-edition single malt whiskies, Vibrant Oak and Guardian Oak. This release celebrates the brand’s mastery of oak and marks The Macallan’s 200th anniversary, while also continuing its collaboration with Cirque du Soleil.

The Harmony Collection is known for sustainable packaging that repurposes organic materials, such as oak chippings from the whisky-making process. This eco-conscious approach complements the whiskies’ focus on oak, which plays a central role in shaping The Macallan’s flavours and natural colours.

Vibrant Oak, now available at select Canadian retailers, is crafted from first-fill American oak and second-fill sherry-seasoned oak casks. Guardian Oak, available exclusively in global travel retail outside Canada, is matured in first-fill European oak and second-fill sherry-seasoned oak casks. Each whisky highlights the distinct characteristics of these wood types, showcasing how cask origin shapes taste.

The Vibrant Oak packaging features artwork inspired by Ayla, a Cirque du Soleil character symbolizing American oak. Similarly, Guardian Oak’s design draws on Davonna, representing European oak, with vibrant purple hues denoting wisdom and maturity.
