The Glenlivet Launches Fusion Cask Innovation and Partners with Toronto’s Vintage Conservatory

TORONTO – The Glenlivet, one of the world’s most iconic Speyside single malt Scotch whiskies, has introduced a category-first innovation to the Canadian market: The Glenlivet Rum and Bourbon Fusion Cask Selection. The launch coincides with the brand’s bicentennial celebrations and marks the beginning of a new Toronto partnership with the Vintage Conservatory, where a quarterly event series titled The Distiller’s Table will showcase exclusive Scotch tasting experiences.

A First-of-Its-Kind Innovation

The Fusion Cask Selection is crafted by dismantling first-fill rum and bourbon barrels and reassembling them into bespoke casks, imparting a layered flavour profile that blends caramel-toffee notes with The Glenlivet’s signature fruity style. Tasting notes highlight aromas of orange, vanilla custard, caramel, coconut, and lemon zest, with palate impressions of apricot, peach, apples, and cinnamon spice.

The Distiller’s Table Comes to Toronto

To celebrate the release, The Glenlivet has partnered with Toronto’s Vintage Conservatory on The Distiller’s Table, a quarterly whisky-pairing dinner series. Tickets will be sold through Eventbrite 14 days before each event, with exclusive early access and discounted rates for Vintage Conservatory members. The inaugural event in August will spotlight the Fusion Cask Selection.

Founded in 1824 by George Smith, The Glenlivet has a long history of breaking conventions in the single malt category. Recent innovations include the Twist & Mix Cocktails collection and the Sample Room, a creative hub for new product development.
