Summerlicious 2026 Returns with More Than 230 Toronto Restaurants Participating
Summerlicious 2026 features more than 230 Toronto restaurants serving prix fixe menus while supporting the city’s hospitality industry.
TORONTO — One of Toronto’s largest culinary events is back, with Summerlicious 2026 officially launching today and inviting residents and visitors to experience the city’s diverse restaurant scene through specially priced three-course menus at more than 230 participating restaurants.
Running from July 3 to July 19, the annual dining program features restaurants across Toronto offering prix fixe lunch and dinner menus designed to showcase the city’s multicultural culinary landscape while supporting local businesses during the summer season.
Mayor Olivia Chow and Councillor Rachel Chernos Lin (Don Valley West) officially launched this year’s event, encouraging diners to explore new neighbourhoods and cuisines while supporting Toronto’s hospitality industry.

This year’s Summerlicious features more than 30 first-time participating restaurants, expanding the event’s culinary offerings across the city.
New additions include:
- Alobar Downtown
- Casa Morales
- CKB
- El Inka Peruvian Cuisine
- Flame Sushi
- The Frederick
- Ju-Raku
- Koh Lipe Scarborough

Participating restaurants span Toronto’s downtown core, Financial District, Scarborough, Etobicoke, North York, Midtown, King West and several other neighbourhoods.
Prix Fixe Menus Across a Range of Price Points
Summerlicious offers specially curated three-course menus designed to make dining at participating restaurants more accessible.
Lunch menus range from $20 to $55, while dinner menus range from $25 to $75.
The City has also expanded dietary options for diners.
Nearly 75 per cent of participating restaurants are offering three-course vegetarian menus, while 40 per cent feature gluten-free meal options.
Visitors can search restaurants by neighbourhood, cuisine, price point and dietary preference through the City’s Summerlicious website.
Supporting Toronto’s Restaurant Industry
Launched in 2003, Summerlicious and its winter counterpart, Winterlicious, were created to encourage restaurant visits during traditionally slower periods for the hospitality industry.
Since the programs began, they have collectively:
- Served more than eight million meals
- Generated more than $353 million in economic activity for Toronto restaurants
City officials say the program continues to support restaurant owners, chefs, servers and hospitality workers while encouraging residents to discover new local businesses.
Mayor Olivia Chow said the event offers an opportunity for families and friends to enjoy Toronto’s food scene together.
“Summerlicious is finally here and it’s the perfect reason to gather with loved ones for a shared meal. With restaurants participating across the city and menus at different price points, there’s no better time to enjoy the summer, explore new cuisines, and support our vibrant local food scene.”
Councillor Rachel Chernos Lin added that every reservation contributes to Toronto’s hospitality sector.
“Summerlicious returns every year as one of the city’s favourite dining experiences because it works. It’s the best time to enjoy seasonal, locally sourced menus, explore new neighbourhoods, and visit local restaurants and businesses.”
Exploring Toronto Through Food
Summerlicious reflects Toronto’s reputation as one of the world’s most diverse food destinations, offering cuisines from around the globe in neighbourhoods throughout the city.
Whether diners are looking for international flavours, locally sourced ingredients or fine dining experiences, the annual program provides an opportunity to experience Toronto’s culinary diversity at fixed prices.
Reservations are now open, with menus and participating restaurants available through the City’s Summerlicious website.
