Subaru Canada Unveils Exclusive 2025 BRZ 紫 Murasaki Edition

MISSISSAUGA, ON – Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) has introduced a special edition of its performance-driven BRZ sports car, unveiling the 2025 BRZ 紫 Murasaki Edition. This limited-run model, named after the Japanese word for “purple,” will see only 100 units produced and features an exclusive Galaxy Purple Pearl exterior paint.

Built on the BRZ tS trim, the 紫 Murasaki Edition retains the car’s signature 228-horsepower 2.4-litre SUBARU BOXER engine, known for its balanced power delivery and low centre of gravity. A six-speed close-ratio manual transmission is standard, ensuring an engaging driving experience in the rear-wheel-drive 2+2 coupe. Enhancing its performance, the model comes equipped with Brembo high-performance brakes featuring gold-painted calipers and Hitachi-Astemo front dampers, offering improved braking power and ride stability.

Inside, the 紫 Murasaki Edition sports grey accents on black leather with Ultrasuede seats and door panels, complemented by grey accent stitching throughout the cabin. A special edition badge sits prominently in front of the shifter, emphasizing the car’s exclusivity.

On the exterior, the vehicle features a low-profile gloss black spoiler, a side exterior graphic kit, and 10-spoke 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels finished in silver. For added performance and structural rigidity, Subaru has included an STI flexible V-bar under the hood.

The 2025 BRZ 紫 Murasaki Edition is priced at $39,295 and will be available in Canada this spring, with only 100 units produced.
