Steelheads Team Up for Holiday Toy Drive
BRAMPTON, ON – As the holiday season approaches, the Brampton Steelheads are gearing up to spread festive cheer through their annual Toy Drive game. On Friday, November 22, 2024, at 7 PM, the Steelheads will face off against the Niagara IceDogs at the CAA Centre, all while encouraging fans to support families in need.
This year marks a special milestone for the team, as the toys collected will be donated to the Miracle on Main campaign, a collaborative initiative with Peel Regional Police and the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation. The campaign aims to provide holiday gifts to children in need across the region.
The generosity of Steelheads fans has been evident in past seasons, with hundreds of toys donated. Jennifer Bissell, representing Peel Regional Police, emphasized the impact of community contributions.
“Every year, it is the community’s kindness and generosity that helps make the toy campaign the success that it is. This year Peel Regional Police is supporting the ‘Miracle on Main Street toy campaign.’ Every donation makes a difference in the lives of the children who need it most,” Bissell said. She also expressed gratitude for the Steelheads’ long-standing partnership, noting their unwavering commitment to supporting the initiative.
