Simons to Open at CF Toronto Eaton Centre on September 18
Canadian fashion retailer expands footprint with new 112,000 sq. ft. flagship location
Toronto, ON – Simons, Canada’s oldest privately owned family business, is set to open its highly anticipated CF Toronto Eaton Centre location on September 18, 2025, at 10 a.m. EST.
The new store will span more than 112,000 square feet across three floors, marking a significant expansion of Simons’ presence in Toronto. It follows an earlier GTA opening this year and represents the company’s 19th store nationwide.
The Eaton Centre location will showcase Simons’ exclusive private labels, international designers, local Canadian brands, and works by Canadian artists that will be unveiled at the grand opening. The architecture, designed by Lemay-Michaud Architecture with interiors by Gensler Design Toronto, draws inspiration from natural elements, a hallmark of Simons’ approach to blending fashion, art, and design.
A Canadian Legacy Expands Downtown
Founded in Quebec City in 1840 by John Simons, the company has grown from a dry goods store into a national fashion authority. With stores already established across Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia, Simons is making a major statement about its commitment to the Greater Toronto Area with this downtown expansion.
