LOS CABOS, Mexico — Canadian tennis star Denis Shapovalov is officially back in form after capturing the 2025 Los Cabos Open title with a dominant straight-sets victory over American Aleksandar Kovacevic, 6–4, 6–2. The win marks Shapovalov’s second title of the year and fourth career ATP singles title.
The 26-year-old didn’t drop a single set all week in Mexico and has now climbed five spots to No. 28 in the ATP rankings, his highest placement since 2022.
