Selena Gomez and OREO Team Up for Limited-Edition Cookie Inspired by Her Childhood Favourite Drink
Collector’s Cookie Features Her Signature – With A Portion of Proceeds Supporting Youth Mental Health
TORONTO — Canadian fans of Selena Gomez and OREO have reason to celebrate: a new Limited Edition Selena Gomez OREO Cookie is set to launch nationwide on June 9. Inspired by the beloved singer and actress’s nostalgic love for horchata, the cookie blends a sweet-and-spiced twist with a heartfelt mission.
Developed in close collaboration with Gomez herself, the cookie features a chocolate and cinnamon flavour creme stacked atop a layer of sweetened condensed milk flavour creme with cinnamon sugar inclusions—all sandwiched between chocolate cinnamon wafers.
“Making my own OREO cookie was a lot of fun,” said Gomez. “I grew up loving them, so being able to be a part of the process was a full-circle moment. I wanted to find a way for it to feel comforting and have a bit of nostalgia from my childhood.”
Adding to the collectible appeal, the cookies will include six fan-inspired embossments—one even spells out “Selenators.” Hidden in approximately every three packs is a cookie embossed with Selena Gomez’s actual signature, a first in OREO’s history.
As part of the collaboration, OREO will also donate to the Rare Impact Fund, the nonprofit founded by Gomez to improve access to mental health services for young people. More details can be found at rareimpactfund.org.
