Sean Jones Announces Summer Residency at Toronto’s Historic Palais Royale

Toronto, ON – JUNO Award-winning R&B artist and actor Sean Jones is bringing his signature soulful sound to one of Toronto’s most iconic venues this summer. Beginning July 16, 2025, Jones will launch a bi-monthly Wednesday night residency at the historic Palais Royale, located along the lakeshore at 1601 Lake Shore Blvd W. The performances will continue throughout the summer, offering an intimate and electrifying live music experience for fans of R&B and soul.

The residency marks a new chapter in Jones’ impressive live performance journey, following the immense success of his Soul in the City series at Casa Loma, which sold out week after week and became a mainstay of Toronto’s summer cultural calendar.

Titled “Revival at Palais Royale,” the summer residency will showcase Jones and his acclaimed band delivering a powerful blend of classic soul, R&B hits, and contemporary influences. Known for his commanding stage presence and heartfelt vocals, Jones invites audiences to “experience the music you love like never before.”

Jones’ musical reach extends far beyond Toronto. He made history as WestJet’s first musical ambassador, producing the WestJet Boarding Sessions, and has shared stages with music royalty including Stevie Wonder, Usher, Natalie Cole, Beyoncé, David Foster, Jully Black, and Divine Brown. His single “Don’t Forget Me When I’m Gone,” featured in the film Sons 2 the Grave, earned a nomination for a Hollywood Music Award.

In 2024, he capped off the summer with a headlining performance at the Harbourfront Concert Stage to a standing-room-only crowd. That was followed by a dynamic concert at Toronto’s legendary El Mocambo, and the self-produced Holiday Soul Christmas concert in Hamilton, where he raised funds for local food banks alongside guest performers Jackie Richardson, Divine Brown, and the Hamilton Youth Philharmonic.

With his voice soaring at 30,000 feet on WestJet flights and a loyal fanbase across Canada and beyond, Sean Jones continues to redefine the Canadian soul music experience. His Palais Royale residency is poised to be one of the hottest tickets of the summer.
