Refreshed 2025 Kia EV6 Launches in Canada With Boosted Range and Tech Upgrades
TORONTO — Kia Canada has officially launched the significantly refreshed 2025 Kia EV6, now available at dealerships nationwide with a starting MSRP of $48,995. The all-electric crossover arrives with a suite of upgrades, including an expanded battery, updated styling, and next-generation tech features designed to enhance the driving experience for Canadian EV buyers.
The 2025 EV6 now offers a next-generation 84.0 kWh battery pack on its 800V architecture, delivering a targeted all-electric range of up to 513 kilometres — a notable improvement from previous models. Paired with Kia’s signature “Opposites United” design language, the EV6 features new Star Map Lighting and a refined horizontal interior theme with a curved integrated display, giving the cabin a more futuristic and premium feel.
David Sherrard, Director of Strategic Planning at Kia Canada, emphasized the EV6’s importance to the company’s electrified lineup. “The refreshed design elements offer our customers even more technology, sophisticated styling with added EV range and offer an accessible price point to EV ownership with the Light RWD trim,” he said in a statement. “We are confident the EV6 will continue to deliver Canadians the features and performance they are looking for in leading edge EV.”
In addition to the design enhancements, the new EV6 integrates Kia’s next-gen Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC), offering over-the-air (OTA) update capabilities and the available Digital Key 2.0 system.
The 2025 lineup includes six trims:
