Rabba Fine Foods Pledges $250,000 to Trillium Health Partners
TORONTO – Rabba Fine Foods has announced a multi-year donation of $250,000 to Trillium Health Partners Foundation (THPF), reinforcing a long-standing partnership that has supported the Greater Toronto Area’s healthcare system for nearly three decades.
The funding, set to be distributed over the next 10 years, will be directed toward critical hospital services, including the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Care Unit, and Mental Health services. Additionally, Rabba Fine Foods has committed to supporting the Mayor McCallion Walk for Health in Port Credit, an initiative aimed at funding the construction of the new Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital. Once completed, the facility will be the largest hospital in Canada, enhancing healthcare accessibility for residents of Mississauga and the surrounding regions.
“High-quality healthcare is something everyone should be able to access,” said Rick Rabba, president of Rabba Fine Foods. “We are honoured to support Trillium Health Partners Foundation as they continue to provide exceptional care to our community.”
Rabba Fine Foods has been a steadfast supporter of Trillium Health Partners since 1995 through its Rabba Roots Program. The company has consistently contributed to key THPF initiatives, including the Cancer Centre, Surgery Program, Emergency Departments, and ICU. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Rabba Fine Foods played a pivotal role in helping hospitals acquire ventilators and other essential emergency equipment to manage the crisis.
Trillium Health Partners is also establishing a new Women’s and Children’s Hospital, aimed at improving generational health for families in Mississauga and Toronto. The contributions from Rabba Fine Foods are expected to play a vital role in supporting these healthcare advancements.
