QuickBite Collective Unveils Ambitious Expansion with Triple-Brand Acquisition in Canadian QSR Market

Franchise disruptor plans 82+ locations by year’s end, sponsors national franchise shows across Canada

A new force in the Canadian quick-service restaurant (QSR) landscape is rising fast—and it’s already making major moves. QuickBite Collective, a startup QSR company founded just six months ago, has announced a bold triple-brand acquisition that positions it as one of the fastest-growing foodservice players in Canada.

With a team of seasoned industry veterans at the helm, QuickBite has now added Teriyaki Experience, Burgers n’ Fries Forever (BFF), and Maverick’s Donut Company to its portfolio—each bringing a distinct flavour, audience, and growth trajectory. The move signals the company’s aggressive push to exceed 82 locations nationwide by the end of 2025.

QuickBite President Hadi Chahin described the venture as more than just a growth story.

“We’re building the most dynamic, culturally relevant, and operationally excellent food portfolio in the country—one that empowers our franchisees to succeed and thrive in an ever-evolving market,” Chahin said in a statement.

📈 Triple-Brand Strategy: A Recipe for Disruption

Teriyaki Experience, a 40-year-old Canadian staple known for its Japanese-inspired teppanyaki meals, is undergoing a major rebrand. Under QuickBite’s direction, the chain is refreshing its identity, modernizing its menu, and refocusing on hospitality and in-store experiences—aiming to reclaim its status as a go-to option in Canadian food courts and urban centres.

Meanwhile, Burgers n’ Fries Forever (BFF) brings a bold, youthful energy to the portfolio. A cult-favourite halal burger brand born in Toronto, BFF boasts a loyal Gen Z following, over 64,000 social media fans, and a commitment to big flavour and social engagement. The brand is poised to open 12 new locations in the next six months, expanding its Ontario presence and setting its sights on other provinces.

Rounding out the trio is Maverick’s Donut Company, Canada’s fastest-growing donut brand. Known for its Instagrammable designs and rotating menu of creative flavours, Maverick’s adds a sweet twist to QuickBite’s offering—and is primed for national expansion.

🇨🇦 Taking Centre Stage at National Franchise Shows

In another bold move, QuickBite Collective has also signed on as Presenting Sponsor of the National Franchise Show tour, set to stop in Toronto, Calgary, Halifax, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Vancouver this year. The sponsorship underscores QuickBite’s commitment to supporting Canada’s franchise ecosystem and attracting new operators eager to grow with its brands.

🥡 A New Era for Quick-Service Dining

Though young, QuickBite is moving with the speed and precision of a seasoned industry player. With innovation, scalability, and franchisee support at the centre of its model, the company says it’s ready to “rewrite the rules of quick-service dining—one bold bite at a time.”

Franchise opportunities, rebranding campaigns, and new store openings are expected to ramp up throughout the second half of 2025.
