Quesada Reignites the Heat with Return of Ghost Pepper Chicken Mole

Spicy fan-favourite available across Canada until July 15

Toronto — Quesada is bringing the fire back to its menu with the nationwide return of its Ghost Pepper Chicken Mole — a bold fusion of authentic Mexican flavour and Canadian culinary flair. Available now through July 15, 2025, the limited-time dish brings heat-seekers an 8/10 spice rating powered by eight chile peppers, including the famously fiery Ghost Pepper.

The Ghost Pepper Chicken Mole features tender white meat chicken slow-simmered in a rich mole sauce, known for its deep, complex balance of sweet, smoky and savoury notes. Quesada’s version turns up the dial with an intense pepper blend, giving guests the option to enjoy it in burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos, or nachos.

“This isn’t just a sauce — it’s an experience,” said Angelo Ragas, Brand Leader for Quesada, in the company’s announcement. “The chicken absorbs all the deep, smoky flavour of the mole, making every bite an authentic taste of Mexico — but spiced ‘To the Mex.’”

Also joining the flavour lineup later this month is Quesada’s new Spicy Mango Salsa, available beginning April 30. The limited-time topping brings a sweet-meets-heat contrast that complements the mole dish and other Quesada menu items.

The Ghost Pepper Chicken Mole originally debuted in 2023 and has returned by popular demand, reflecting Quesada’s growing reputation for daring flavours. As a Canadian brand founded in 2004, Quesada has continued to expand its menu with globally inspired options, while keeping its commitment to fresh, house-made ingredients.

The Ghost Pepper Chicken Mole is available at all participating Quesada locations nationwide until July 15, 2025.
