Queens Harbour Opens at Toronto’s Harbourfront with 800 Seats and Canada’s Largest Retractable Rooftop

TORONTO — Toronto’s waterfront dining scene just got a major upgrade. Queens Harbour, a 23,000-square-foot culinary destination boasting over 800 seats and Canada’s largest retractable rooftop, opens today at 245 Queens Quay West. Blending Mediterranean and Asian influences, the highly anticipated venue is being hailed as the city’s biggest restaurant opening of the year.

Designed as a multi-sensory experience, Queens Harbour redefines what Toronto diners can expect from a waterfront venue. The sprawling space includes a grand entrance bar, open kitchen, sushi bar, and two levels of open-air dining. Private and semi-private rooms overlook the main floor, while the upper-level “Queens Garden” delivers a lively nighttime atmosphere under its operable glass roof.

A Concept Born on the Waterfront

Founded by restaurateurs Ali Badreddine, Kevin Jazexhi, and Iris Jazexhi, Queens Harbour is built on the philosophy of always putting the guest first. “We wanted to ensure a quality experience, and Queens Harbour offers one that is one-of-a-kind and deeply connected to Toronto,” said Iris Jazexhi.

Kevin Jazexhi echoed the sentiment, noting, “Its location on Toronto’s waterfront was a deliberate choice. We saw an opportunity to create something that naturally evolves throughout the day while offering a new restaurant concept to a city that appreciates more than a meal.”

The Harbourfront Centre, where Queens Harbour is located, also views the opening as a milestone in the area’s revitalization. “It’s inspiring to see Queens Harbour open its doors and contribute something truly special to our revitalized campus,” said Cathy Loblaw, CEO of Harbourfront Centre.

MediterrAsian Cuisine Meets Elevated Hospitality

At the core of Queens Harbour is a MediterrAsian menu curated for shared dining experiences. Overseen by Executive Chef Robert Balint and Chef Collaborator Julien Laffargue, the menu features sushi, seafood towers, and large-format platters meant for the table.

“The goal is to create flavours that captivate the palate,” said co-founder Ali Badreddine. “Paired with an inventive beverage program, every element comes together to fuel an experience that demands attention and leaves guests wanting to return.”

From refreshing cocktails to zero-proof mocktails, the drinks menu is as carefully curated as the food. Guests can expect everything from bright botanical spritzes to bold smoky concoctions.

Open Late and Built for Every Occasion

Queens Harbour will operate daily from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., catering to everything from business lunches to late-night celebrations. The venue’s unique mix of indoor and outdoor dining areas, combined with sweeping CN Tower views and a focus on high-end design, makes it ideal for casual meals, private events, and nightlife alike.

Reservations are now open and can be made via phone at (416) 572-4300 or through the Queens Harbour website. Guests can also follow along on Instagram for opening weekend content and updates.
