Pizza Nova and Partners Raise $56,887 With Charity Golf Event
TORONTO – Pizza Nova, along with its dedicated partners, hit the greens on June 11 for the company’s 27th annual charity summer golf event, raising an impressive $56,887 in support of Villa Charities.
Held at the scenic Station Creek Golf Club in Gormley, Ontario, the event saw a turnout of over 215 participants, including franchisees, suppliers, partners, family members, and friends. The funds raised will directly benefit the Villa Colombo Toronto long-term care home, which serves over 391 residents.
“We hoped to raise some dough, both in the kitchen and on the greens, and we drove it way over the goal,” said Domenic Primucci, president of Pizza Nova. “We could not be more grateful to our partners for their continued generosity and to Villa Charities for their critical work in the community.”
For more than 26 years, Pizza Nova has been a steadfast supporter of Villa Charities, with total contributions now exceeding $765,000. This long-standing partnership underscores the company’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting the well-being of elderly Italo-Canadian citizens.
“These funds help us to enrich the lives of elderly Italo-Canadian citizens in our long-term care homes,” said Marco DeVuono, president and CEO of Villa Charities Inc. “The dedication we’ve seen from Pizza Nova and its partners over the years has been nothing short of inspirational and a true blessing to the people we help. Grazie mille!”
The annual golf fundraiser has become a beloved tradition for Pizza Nova and its partners, combining the joy of the sport with the noble cause of supporting the community. As the participants enjoyed a day of golf under sunny skies, the spirit of camaraderie and charity was palpable, reflecting the strong community bonds and the shared goal of making a positive impact.
