Pittsburgh, PA – The Toronto Maple Leafs fell short against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night, losing 5-2 at PPG Paints Arena.

In the third period, former Maple Leaf Michael Bunting added a crucial power-play goal, while Blake Lizotte and Kris Letang each netted empty-net, short-handed goals in the final minute to seal the Penguins’ victory.
Toronto’s goaltender Joseph Woll faced 27 shots, allowing three goals in 48:53 of ice time. Pittsburgh’s Tristan Jarry stopped 25 of 27 shots to secure the win.
