The sold-out arena was electrified as fans witnessed a display of skill and determination from both sides.

The game started with a flurry of action as North Bay’s Vilmanis and Wakely found the back of the net early in the first period, giving the Battalion an early lead. However, Oshawa quickly responded with a power-play goal from Rolofs, narrowing the gap.

In the second period, Rolofs struck again for Oshawa, leveling the score and setting the stage for a tense battle between the two teams. Despite several penalties on both sides, neither team was able to break the deadlock as the period ended in a stalemate.

The third period saw Oshawa seize control of the game, with Marrelli and Lockhart each tallying a goal to secure the victory for the Generals. Despite a late empty-net goal from Lockhart, North Bay was unable to mount a comeback, ultimately falling short in their quest for victory.
