NIVEA Canada Renews Pride Commitment with Fourth Year Supporting pflag’s Camp Rainbow Phoenix
TORONTO – NIVEA Canada is reaffirming its commitment to community care and inclusion this Pride season by continuing its impactful partnership with pflag Canada for the fourth consecutive year. Through its support of Camp Rainbow Phoenix (CRP)—a leadership and resilience-building camp for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth—NIVEA aims to make 2025 its most generous year yet.
This summer, from June to August, NIVEA will match one dollar from every sale of its specially marked limited edition NIVEA Crème tins and the newly launched NIVEA Essential Lip Balms—up to a total of $40,000. All proceeds will go directly to Camp Rainbow Phoenix, with the goal of sending 150 youth to this life-changing camp experience.
“At NIVEA, everything we do is rooted in care,” said Florian Valentin Wolfram, General Manager of Beiersdorf Canada. “We’re proud to stand with the youth and the community that rely on resources like Camp Rainbow Phoenix, to foster dialogue, and help build a more compassionate and understanding future.”
Building a More Inclusive Future
Since the start of the partnership, NIVEA’s support has enabled over 300 youth to attend CRP. The initiative continues to focus on helping young people across Canada explore their leadership potential while nurturing personal resilience in safe, affirming environments. CRP empowers campers to become advocates and changemakers in their schools, families, and communities.
Canadians can participate by purchasing the Pride-themed products, available at major retailers nationwide and on Amazon. Beyond financial support, the partnership represents a broader campaign—#ProudInYourSkin—that invites Canadians to celebrate individuality and create inclusive spaces both online and offline.
Pride 2025 Packaging with Purpose
This year’s limited-edition Pride packaging features designs inspired by themes of pride, love, and unity. More than a design refresh, it’s part of NIVEA Canada’s broader effort to amplify diverse voices and reflect the lived experiences of 2SLGBTQIA+ Canadians. The campaign also includes digital storytelling collaborations with Canadian creators across platforms, continuing the brand’s mission to help people feel seen, heard, and valued.
A Long-Term Partnership That’s Changing Lives
pflag Canada, a national charity founded by parents of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, provides peer support, education, and advocacy to promote understanding and acceptance. Their Camp Rainbow Phoenix is one of the few dedicated leadership spaces for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in the country, offering a unique environment where campers build confidence and connect over shared experiences.
