New Vendors Coming to Union Station’s Foodie Aisle in October

Toronto — Union Station’s popular Foodie Aisle is gearing up for its first vendor rotation this October, offering food lovers fresh new options. Located on the lower level of Union Station with direct access to Scotiabank Arena, the Foodie Aisle is a convenient stop for anyone passing through the busy transit hub or heading to a game or event. The new vendors, including Azul, Tut’s Egyptian, and Blondies Pizza, are set to enhance the already diverse food offerings.

A Growing Food Destination

Launched in 2021, the Foodie Aisle was designed with flexibility in mind, featuring market-style food stalls that rotate vendors to reflect Toronto’s evolving food scene. Union Station’s revitalization project, led by Osmington Inc., continues to introduce a mix of retail and culinary options, making it a prime destination not only for transit but also for dining. The Foodie Aisle’s rotating selection includes a variety of cuisines such as dim sum, pizza, tacos, fried chicken, and sandwiches, catering to the wide-ranging tastes of Toronto’s diverse population.

The expansion brings new life to the area with the arrival of Azul, a fast-casual Mexican eatery opening in early October. Under the direction of Executive Chef Joao Medina, Azul promises to deliver authentic and high-quality Mexican dishes.

Tut’s Egyptian, another October addition, has gained a loyal following since opening its first location in downtown Toronto. Specializing in Egyptian-style sandwiches, Tut’s has expanded its reach to Mississauga and Oakville, offering unique, quick-serve options that aren’t widely available elsewhere in the Greater Toronto Area.

In early November, Blondies Pizza, known for its New York-style pizzas and high-quality ingredients, will join the Foodie Aisle lineup. Since opening in Leslieville in 2018, Blondies has become a popular choice for pizza lovers across the city.

Returning to the Foodie Aisle are Mean Bao and MightyBird. Mean Bao offers a dim sum-inspired menu, including its signature bao filled with savory ingredients, while MightyBird serves up premium chicken dishes, combining top-tier ingredients with innovative flavors.

With these new vendors, Union Station continues to solidify its reputation as a food destination for both locals and visitors.
