New Integrated Service Hub Launches in Brampton to Improve Access to Government Services

BRAMPTON — A new integrated government service hub has officially opened inside Peel Region headquarters in Brampton, offering residents a one-stop shop to access both provincial and municipal services under one roof.

The facility is part of a two-year pilot partnership between ServiceOntario and the Region of Peel. It enables residents to renew driver’s licences, health cards, and Ontario Photo Cards at the same counter where municipal services are offered — a first-of-its-kind setup in the region.

“Our government is making life easier for Ontarians by developing solutions that enhance customer service excellence and strengthen our community presence in efficient and scalable ways,” said Stephen Crawford, Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. “Through our partnership with Peel Region, we are integrating municipal and provincial services into a single community hub — enhancing accessibility, improving the customer experience, and elevating service delivery.”

Located at 10 Peel Centre Drive, the new hub is expected to accommodate an estimated 59,000 ServiceOntario visits over the next year. It operates Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is easily accessible by public transit, situated near the Bramalea Terminal.

“This groundbreaking partnership between Peel Region and ServiceOntario represents a major step forward in how we deliver services to our residents,” said Peel Region Chair Nando Iannicca. “By integrating essential municipal and provincial services under one roof, we are making it easier and more convenient for people to access the support they need — especially our most vulnerable residents. This initiative is a testament to our shared commitment to modern, efficient, and customer-focused public service delivery.”

MPP Charmaine Williams (Brampton Centre) praised the effort, saying, “This integrated service hub represents a new relationship between ServiceOntario and our region by delivering access to critical services for our growing community. By blending provincial and municipal support in one accessible location, we’re enhancing efficiency, cutting wait times, and putting residents first. This is forward-thinking governance at its best and Brampton is stronger for it.”

Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown also welcomed the announcement: “Today’s announcement is a milestone in making government services more accessible and responsive to the needs of Brampton and Peel residents. As one of Canada’s fastest growing and dynamic big cities, Brampton welcomes this innovative partnership. This new integrated service hub will not only streamline service delivery and reduce wait times, but also, offer a more convenient and efficient experience for residents in our communities.”

The Brampton centre joins a series of other ServiceOntario initiatives to improve access and customer service across Ontario, including mobile service units in northern communities, online marriage licence applications, and expanded virtual and digital offerings.
