New Flight Route: Hamilton to Faro via Iceland with PLAY Airlines

Hamilton, ON – PLAY, a budget-friendly airline known for connecting North America with Europe through Iceland, has unveiled a new route linking Hamilton, Ontario, with Faro, Portugal. The route, set to commence on April 12, 2025, will offer two weekly flights every Saturday and Wednesday until October 29, 2025. Tickets for this service are now available.

The new route offers Southern Ontario travelers the opportunity to explore Iceland during a layover of up to 10 days at no extra cost before continuing their journey to Faro. From Hamilton International Airport, roundtrip fares to Faro via Iceland start at $650 CAD.
