Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre Unveils Enchanting Holiday Lineup
Mississauga, ON – The Living Arts Centre (LAC) has announced its third wave of holiday programming, offering a diverse lineup of performances designed to inspire joy and nostalgia this festive season. The newly revealed schedule continues the LAC’s tradition of showcasing holiday classics, musical legends, and stand-out comedic acts, attracting a wide range of audiences to Mississauga.
Among the highlights is the timeless ballet The Nutcracker, performed by the renowned State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine. Bringing their unique Ukrainian Gopak version to life, the ballet promises to immerse audiences in a magical winter wonderland, offering a perfect family outing on December 1, 2024.
For those looking for a musical journey, 80s Canadian rock legends Glass Tiger will take the stage with their This Island Earth show on December 5. Known for hits like “Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone)” and “Someday,” Glass Tiger is set to deliver an evening of beloved tracks with special guest Erica Ehm, former MuchMusic VJ, who brings her own nostalgic appeal to the lineup.
Fans of contemporary Canadian music will be thrilled to see The Strumbellas performing on December 8. The two-time JUNO Award-winning group will feature songs from their new album, Part Time Believer, blending their familiar alternative sound with fresh material for an energetic and heartfelt performance.
Adding a comedic twist, The Debaters Live Holiday Tour will bring laughter to the LAC on December 13.
