Mississauga Welcomes the Return of Music 311 Program

Mississauga — The City of Mississauga is bringing back its beloved Music 311 program, offering local artists an exciting platform to showcase their talent. This initiative allows musicians from the community to have their music featured on the City’s 311 call queue lines, during live streams of Council meetings, and on the MiWay customer information line.

When callers reach out to the City and a customer service representative is unavailable, they are treated to a variety of music created by Mississauga artists. The program not only enhances the caller experience but also highlights the cultural diversity and creativity of the city’s musicians.

The Music 311 program has become a popular way for local artists to share their work with a broad audience. With thousands of people accessing these services daily, it provides invaluable exposure for participants and strengthens the city’s commitment to supporting its vibrant arts community.

A total of 12 recordings will be selected each year, offering a wide range of musical genres to be enjoyed by callers. Artists interested in having their work considered for the program are encouraged to apply before the submission deadline on Sunday, October 27, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

For more information on how to submit your music, visit the City of Mississauga’s 311 Music webpage.
