Mississauga Opens Applications for 2025 Celebration Square Large Event Program
Mississauga, ON – The City of Mississauga has announced the launch of its 2025 Celebration Square Large Event Application Program, inviting eligible event organizers to apply for coveted spots at the city’s premier outdoor venue. The application process, open until 4 p.m. EST on Friday, November 29, 2024, provides a streamlined way for organizers to secure dates for both the 2025 and 2026 event seasons.
The program aims to bolster Mississauga’s vibrant cultural landscape, aligning with the City’s objectives of accessibility, sustainability, economic growth, and exceptional programming. Mississauga Celebration Square (MCS) serves as a hub for community engagement, hosting events that attract thousands of residents and visitors annually.

Application Requirements

- A track record of fiscal responsibility.
- Events that are open to the public and free of charge.
- The ability to acquire liability insurance.
Competitive Selection Process
Applications will be evaluated by a designated reference group, ensuring that awarded dates align with the program’s high standards. Due to the popularity of MCS as a venue, the City notes that requested dates are not guaranteed, and final allocations may differ from initial requests.
