Mississauga Expands Annual Dog Swim to Three Outdoor Pools

MISSISSAUGA — Mississauga’s beloved Dog Swim is back this weekend, giving four-legged residents a chance to make a splash while raising money for a worthy cause. For the first time, the annual event will be hosted at three outdoor pool locations on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Since its launch in 2019, the Dog Swim has become a late-summer tradition, bringing the community together to celebrate pets while supporting the Animal Services Special Care for Animals and Resources Fund (SCARF). Donations collected online or in person during registration help provide specialized care, medical support, and housing improvements for animals in the City’s shelter system.
