Mississauga Announces New and Improved Program Registration Process for 2025
Mississauga residents can look forward to a smoother, more flexible registration experience for the City’s recreation programs and camps in 2025. The City has revamped its registration process to address the needs and feedback of residents, introducing key changes aimed at improving accessibility and reducing financial stress.
The updated registration system will feature four distinct seasonal windows, allowing families to better plan their activities and secure spots in the most popular programs. Registration will now begin at 7 a.m. instead of the previous 6 a.m. start time, making it easier for residents to participate.
New Registration Schedule for 2025
Here is a breakdown of the new seasonal registration opportunities:
- Spring programs and summer camps: February 18, 2025
- Summer programs: May 20, 2025
- Fall programs and winter camps: August 11, 2025
- Winter programs, March Break Camp, and Aquatic Leadership: November 24, 2025
To further streamline the process, overlaps between programs have been reduced, giving families more clarity and control over scheduling.
Preparing for Spring Registration
The first registration window of the year opens on February 18, 2025, at 7 a.m. for Mississauga residents. Non-residents can register starting February 25. To help residents prepare, the City will open a program preview on February 11, allowing users to browse and bookmark their preferred options on Active Mississauga.
Residents are encouraged to create an account on Active Mississauga if they don’t already have one. They can also take advantage of tutorial videos and tips available on the City’s website to streamline their search. Families are advised to focus on securing spots in high-demand programs, like summer camps, early in the process.
