Miss Vickie’s Launches Limited-Time “Ristoranti Series” Celebrating Iconic Italian Restaurants in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver
Three new flavours bring authentic Italian cuisine to Canadian snack aisles
TORONTO — Miss Vickie’s is taking Canadians on a cross-country culinary journey with its newest creation — the Ristoranti Series, a trio of limited-edition flavours inspired by signature dishes from three acclaimed Italian restaurants: Pizzeria Badiali in Toronto, Nora Gray in Montreal, and Ask for Luigi in Vancouver.
Available starting today at grocery and retail stores nationwide, the new line of kettle-cooked potato chips is described by Miss Vickie’s as “a love letter to some of the best Italian restaurants in Canada.”
The collaboration aims to bring restaurant-quality flavours to a familiar Canadian favourite — the crispy, golden Miss Vickie’s chip.
The Ristoranti Series Line-Up
Miss Vickie’s® Vodka Sauce Pizza
Inspired by Toronto’s Queen West favourite Pizzeria Badiali, this flavour combines creamy tomato sauce, cheese, and oregano to recreate the essence of a woodfire pizza — all in one bite.
Miss Vickie’s® Cacio e Pepe
Partnering with Vancouver’s Ask for Luigi, this flavour balances sharp, creamy cheese and freshly cracked black pepper, echoing the richness of the classic Italian pasta dish.
Miss Vickie’s® Spicy Pepperoncini & Focaccia
Drawing from Nora Gray’s beloved Focaccia Maison in Montreal’s Griffintown neighbourhood, this chip delivers a blend of spicy pepperoncini, tangy sweet onion, and sourdough focaccia notes.
Crafting Authentic Flavour
To capture the true essence of each dish, PepsiCo Foods Canada’s Research & Development and Culinary teams worked closely with the restaurant partners, holding in-depth tastings and analyzing each recipe’s signature seasoning profile. PepsiCo chefs refined and tested multiple seasoning iterations to ensure each chip offers a “true-to-dish taste experience.”
“It’s a culinary dream to bring together beloved Italian dishes with the unmistakable crunch of Miss Vickie’s,” said Lisa Allie, Senior Director of Marketing at PepsiCo Foods Canada. “This new series is a celebration of Canadian culinary culture, and we’re so proud to bring Canadians something special to enjoy across the country.”
“Being able to partner with a homegrown Canadian brand like Miss Vickie’s to bring the flavour of our bestselling pizza across the country has been an incredible opportunity,” added Ryan Baddeley, Owner of Pizzeria Badiali. “The iconic vodka sauce and Sicilian spices come through perfectly, and we can’t wait for Canada to try it.”
Proudly Crafted in Canada
Miss Vickie’s kettle-cooked potato chips have been a Canadian staple since 1987, known for their signature crunch and premium ingredients. The Ristoranti Series continues that tradition, celebrating local craftsmanship and culinary diversity — from Toronto to Montreal to Vancouver — through the universal language of flavour.
The three new flavours are available now for a limited time at most major retailers nationwide.
