Miss Vickie’s Brings Back Ristoranti Series with Toronto’s Pizzeria Badiali Among Featured Restaurant Partners
Popular limited-edition chip collection returns to stores July 12 with a new reservation program for Canadian snack fans
TORONTO — After generating a nationwide hunt among snack enthusiasts last year, Miss Vickie’s Ristoranti Series is returning for 2026 with the comeback of three restaurant-inspired flavours developed in partnership with some of Canada’s most celebrated Italian eateries.
The limited-edition collection, created in collaboration with Toronto’s Pizzeria Badiali, Vancouver’s Ask For Luigi and Montréal’s Nora Gray, will return to retail shelves across Canada beginning July 12.
This year, PepsiCo Canada is adding a new twist to the launch by allowing a select group of consumers to reserve the chips before they officially reach stores.
A Popular Collaboration Returns
The Ristoranti Series debuted in 2025 and quickly gained attention among consumers who searched stores across the country for the limited-edition flavours.
Social media posts, online sightings and word-of-mouth recommendations helped turn the release into a sought-after seasonal product launch.
According to PepsiCo Canada, the enthusiastic response made bringing the collection back an easy decision.
“The Ristoranti Series demonstrated last year that Canadian consumers have a real appetite for snacking experiences that don’t compromise on craft,” said Lisa Allie, Senior Director of Foods Marketing at PepsiCo Canada.
“Bringing it back was an easy decision.”
New Chip Reservation Program Launches
For the 2026 release, Miss Vickie’s has introduced a reservation program allowing 100 Canadians to secure a complimentary Ristoranti Series Chip Kit before the products appear in stores.
Each kit includes all three flavours, messages from the participating restaurants and a numbered reservation card recognizing recipients as among the first Canadians to receive the collection.
Reservations opened June 26 through a dedicated online platform and are available while supplies last.
The initiative was designed to build on the excitement created by last year’s product search experience.
Toronto’s Pizzeria Badiali Inspires Vodka Sauce Pizza Chip
For Toronto food lovers, one of the most recognizable collaborations in the collection is the Vodka Sauce Pizza flavour, inspired by the popular menu item at Pizzeria Badiali.
Known for attracting long lines and strong customer demand, the restaurant worked with Miss Vickie’s culinary development team to recreate the flavour profile of its signature vodka sauce pizza in chip form.
The resulting product combines creamy tomato flavours, oregano and notes inspired by wood-fired pizza.
“We don’t put our name on things lightly,” said restaurant owner Ryan Baddeley. “This one earned it.”
Restaurant-Inspired Flavours from Across Canada
The full 2026 Ristoranti Series lineup includes:
Vodka Sauce Pizza
Created with Toronto’s Pizzeria Badiali, inspired by the restaurant’s popular pizza offering.
Cacio e Pepe
Developed alongside Vancouver restaurant Ask For Luigi, capturing the flavours of the classic Roman pasta dish through sharp cheese and black pepper notes.
Spicy Pepperoncini & Focaccia
Created with Montréal restaurant Nora Gray, featuring tangy pepperoncini, sweet onion and focaccia-inspired flavours.
According to PepsiCo Canada, each variety was developed through extensive tasting sessions, recipe analysis and collaboration between restaurant teams and the company’s research and development department.
Celebrating Canadian Culinary Culture
The collaboration highlights a growing trend of food brands partnering with independent restaurants to bring local culinary experiences to a broader audience.
For Miss Vickie’s, which has been producing kettle-cooked potato chips for Canadians since 1987, the project offers an opportunity to showcase restaurant-inspired flavours while celebrating businesses that have become destination dining experiences in their respective cities.
The Ristoranti Series will be available at retailers across Canada beginning July 12, while supplies last.
Consumers interested in securing an advance Chip Kit can participate through the reservation program while quantities remain available.
