Mattamy Homes Wins Gold Award for Best Design Centre at NAHB Nationals
Toronto — Mattamy Homes has earned top honours at one of North America’s most prestigious industry events. The homebuilder’s Urban Design Studio, created in collaboration with Toronto-based interior design firm Figure3, was awarded the Gold Award for Best Design Centre at The Nationals, hosted by the U.S.-based National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
The recognition highlights Mattamy’s innovative approach to the home-buying experience, particularly for mid-rise and high-rise developments. With over 800 design appointments since its 2023 launch, the Urban Design Studio blends style and practicality, helping buyers visualize and personalize their future homes.
“This recognition from the NAHB highlights our commitment to innovative design and an exceptional customer experience,” said Niall Haggart, President of Mattamy’s GTA Urban Division.
Located in the GTA, the award-winning studio features two model kitchens, a model washroom, laundry closets, door and flooring selections, EV charging stations, and other curated elements that give buyers a tactile understanding of their options before construction begins. The layout is designed to simplify the personalization process, offering a guided yet flexible experience.
Mattamy Homes, North America’s largest privately owned homebuilder, operates across 11 U.S. markets and several Canadian cities including Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, and Edmonton. This latest recognition adds to the company’s growing reputation for quality design and customer service in the residential housing market.
