Mattamy Homes Launches Phase 3 of The Nine, Mississauga’s Final Master-Planned Community
Mattamy Homes Phase 3 Brings 200 New Homes to Mississauga
MISSISSAUGA — Mattamy Homes has officially launched Phase 3 of The Nine, marking the latest release of new homes in what the company confirms is Mississauga’s last master-planned community.
North America’s largest family-owned homebuilder celebrated the launch with an in-person sales event on November 15, drawing strong turnout from prospective buyers. The opening release sold briskly, with more than 50 homes purchased on launch day, fully selling out the first batch of available units.
Phase 3 introduces approximately 200 new homes, including Mattamy’s village homes, three-storey townhomes and dual-front townhomes. The new release is designed to integrate seamlessly with established neighbourhoods in the city’s northwest end.
“There’s a real sense of pride in being part of Mississauga’s growth story and this is one of the last opportunities to join it,” said Jill Lalonde, Mattamy Homes’ Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing, in the company’s announcement.
A Community with Access to Transit, Trails and Amenities
Future residents of The Nine will be positioned near some of Mississauga’s most popular shopping and entertainment districts, including:
-
Erin Mills Town Centre & Cineplex Junxion
-
Heartland Town Centre
-
Streetsville Village Square, known for its small-town community feel
-
Square One Shopping Centre, 25 minutes away
Recreation amenities are also close by, with more than eight kilometres of walking and hiking trails connected to nearby parks. Residents will have easy access to Churchill Meadows Community Centre, Mattamy Sports Park, and Meadowvale Community Centre.
Golfers are within minutes of Royal Ontario Golf Club and BraeBen Golf Course, while major community hubs like Celebration Square are just a short drive away.
Connectivity Across the GTA
The community benefits from proximity to key transportation routes, including Highways 403, 401 and 407, as well as major transit options like Streetsville GO Station and Winston Churchill Station, offering direct access to downtown Toronto in under an hour.
Families will also find a variety of established schools nearby, including the University of Toronto Mississauga, located roughly 15 minutes from the development.
A Significant Launch in a Built-Out City
As Mississauga continues to grow and densify, available land for large-scale developments has become scarce. Mattamy’s announcement that The Nine is the city’s final master-planned community underscores its significance for buyers seeking new low-rise housing within the GTA.
Mattamy Homes maintains an extensive presence across North America, supporting more than 8,000 families annually through communities in the GTA, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and 11 U.S. markets.
