Marsim Auto Group Unveils $30 Million Dual Dealership in Toronto, Boosting Local Economy
TORONTO — Marsim Auto Group has officially opened the doors to its latest investment in the Greater Toronto Area: a $30 million, state-of-the-art dual dealership for Toronto Hyundai and Genesis Yorkdale. The grand opening, scheduled for 3:00 p.m. today, marks a milestone in revitalizing the corner of Dufferin Street and Highway 401 with a modern auto retail hub that blends innovation, design, and deep community ties.
Spanning over 40,000 square feet on three acres of previously underused land, the new facility features 24 advanced service bays across two levels and is strategically located within walking distance of Yorkdale Shopping Centre. It is the first Hyundai-Genesis dual dealership of its kind in the city and a flagship development for Marsim Auto Group.
Company founder and president Benny Leung called the project “a dream come true,” highlighting its significance in customer experience and community-building. “These flagship facilities represent years of hard work, vision, and dedication from our entire team,” said Leung. “They embody our commitment to innovation, customer care, and creating spaces that reflect the future of automotive retail.”
The dealership is already showing strong early results, having broken performance records even before its formal launch. Support from the City of Toronto helped streamline permitting and infrastructure development, which included road upgrades and utility improvements around the site.
The new Genesis Yorkdale is also being positioned as a next-generation luxury destination. Eric Marshall, Director at Genesis Canada, praised Leung’s leadership: “This stunning new space that Benny has created is yet one more example of what sets Genesis apart from other luxury brands.”
Architect Wes Surdyka and Hady Construction Associates brought the project to life, while TD Auto Finance Canada provided the financial backing.
Toronto Hyundai and Genesis Yorkdale add to Marsim Auto Group’s growing list of dealerships in the region, which includes Kia Yorkdale (formerly West Toronto Kia). With a staff of over 170 multilingual employees, the group continues to emphasize tailored service, community involvement, and operational excellence.
