Marc Jacobs Beauty Canada Debuts New Makeup Collection

Marc Jacobs Beauty Canada Returns With Bold New Makeup Collection

TORONTO — Marc Jacobs Beauty is officially back in Canada, with its new makeup collection launching today through Sephora Canada’s online platform and a wider retail rollout planned for September.

The return marks a new chapter for the beauty brand founded by renowned fashion designer Marc Jacobs, whose influence on fashion and popular culture has spanned more than three decades.

Known for challenging conventions and embracing individuality throughout his career, Jacobs is bringing that same philosophy to beauty with a collection designed around creativity, colour, and self-expression.

Beauty as a Form of Self-Expression

In announcing the collection, Jacobs described beauty as an extension of personal style rather than a set of rules to follow.

“I think about beauty the way I think about fashion: it’s an area for creativity and self-expression,” Jacobs said in a statement.

The collection arrives as a bold alternative to the minimalist aesthetic that has dominated much of the beauty industry in recent years. Instead of neutral palettes and understated packaging, Marc Jacobs Beauty embraces vibrant colours, statement designs, and playful textures.

The launch campaign emphasizes bold colours, distinctive packaging, and multi-use products designed to encourage creativity and self-expression.

A Curated Collection Across Eyes, Lips and Complexion

The debut lineup includes products across multiple beauty categories, including eyes, lips, and complexion.

Among the collection’s signature products is the Drawn This Way Longwear Eyeliner, available in 21 shades ranging from classic black and brown tones to metallic, glitter, and duochrome finishes.

The Born Star Eyeshadow range features a cream-to-powder formula housed in star-shaped compacts, while Flashes Mascara launches in black, brown, and electric blue options designed for long-lasting wear.

Complexion products include the Joystick Blush Stick, Legally Bronze Bronzer, and Money Shot Highlighter Gel, all designed with buildable formulas and skincare-inspired ingredients.

For lips, the collection introduces Heart On Lipstick, a hybrid lipstick-balm available in 15 shades spanning neutral tones, reds, pinks, and bold statement colours.

Packaging Designed by Marc Jacobs

A defining feature of the collection is its distinctive packaging, personally designed by Jacobs.

Each category is identified by its own signature symbol: daisies for complexion products, stars for eye products, and hearts for lip products.

Metallic finishes, oversized charms, and playful shapes transform the products into collectible accessories while reinforcing the brand’s fashion-forward identity.

According to the company, the packaging was designed to bring contrast, colour, and personality to everyday beauty routines.

Available Now in Canada

The collection became available through Marc Jacobs Beauty’s website on May 28 and launches on Sephora Canada online on June 1. A broader in-store rollout is scheduled for September 1 at more than 100 Sephora locations across Canada.

The return of Marc Jacobs Beauty comes as beauty brands increasingly focus on individuality, colour, and self-expression, moving beyond minimalist aesthetics that have dominated much of the market in recent years.

For Canadian beauty enthusiasts, the relaunch marks the return of a brand known for blending fashion, creativity, and bold design into everyday beauty products.
