Voter List Updates
In addition to applying for mail-in voting, eligible voters can add or update their information on the voters’ list by visiting www.toronto.ca/MyVote before the same deadline. After October 10, residents can still update their information when voting in person during two key dates:
- Advance voting: Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Election day: Monday, November 4, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Voter Information Cards (VIC)
Once on the voters’ list, residents can access their Voter Information Card (VIC), which provides details on when and where to vote. Voters can download or print their VIC from the www.toronto.ca/MyVote portal starting on Thursday, October 17. While a VIC is not required to vote and cannot be used as identification, it serves as a helpful reminder of important election details.
Voting by Proxy
For those unable to vote in person or by mail, eligible voters can appoint a proxy—another eligible voter who can cast a ballot on their behalf. To appoint a proxy, voters must obtain and submit a Voting Proxy Appointment form, which can be downloaded by emailing Toronto Elections at VoterRegistration@toronto.ca or visiting the Toronto Elections office. Proxy forms must be certified by the City Clerk by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 4.
