Toronto, ON — The LEGO Group has announced the launch of its latest masterpiece, the LEGO® Ideas The Botanical Garden set, designed for avid builders and nature enthusiasts alike. This captivating set, consisting of 3,792 pieces, invites fans to delve into a Victorian-style botanical garden, featuring intricate glasshouses and an impressive collection of over 35 plant species.
The set, which will be available for purchase on November 4, 2024, can be found at LEGO.ca/Garden, LEGO stores, and select retailers across Canada. Priced at $429.99 CAD, this extensive model is suitable for builders aged 18 and older.
Valentina Bima, the Italy-based LEGO fan behind this creative endeavor, expressed her enthusiasm: “I’ve been a fan of LEGO building since I was a child, and wanted to create a design that combined my love for botanical gardens and my favourite element—transparent elements. The transparent components allow you to break down the external-internal border, creating a pleasant and captivating aesthetic while showcasing internal details and LEGO Minifigures.”
The Botanical Garden set features:
- Three elegantly designed atriums, including a main atrium with a spiral staircase leading to an observation deck, offering breathtaking views of two large exotic trees.
- A diverse array of plants, showcasing colourful peonies, vibrant flowers, and an arid garden filled with impressive cacti.
- A cozy café situated in one of the atriums, providing a serene atmosphere for visitors to unwind.
- 12 LEGO minifigures, the highest number ever included in a LEGO Ideas set, comprising four staff members (the manager, two gardeners, and a barista) along with various visitors.
- An assortment of animal figures, including a dog, a squirrel, a bunny, four bird figures, and a beetle, which add life to the garden setting.
