LEGO and McLaren Unveil Technic McLaren P1™ Set
Billund, Denmark – The LEGO Group and McLaren Automotive have unveiled their latest collaboration, the LEGO® Technic™ McLaren P1™, a stunning replica of the world’s most dynamically accomplished hypercar. This highly detailed model is part of the LEGO Technic Ultimate Car Concept Series and is designed to scale 1:8 with its real-life counterpart, offering an authentic and immersive building experience for car enthusiasts and LEGO fans alike.
The LEGO Technic design team and McLaren Automotive worked closely together to bring the elements of the original P1 to life in LEGO form, ensuring the model includes cutting-edge functionality and intricate details. The set features a 7-speed gearbox with 2 shifter drums, functional suspension, a V8 piston engine, an adjustable rear wing, and opening dihedral doors with advanced mechanisms, all capturing the essence of the McLaren P1™.
