Knix Expands Retail Footprint with New Pop-Up Store at Yorkdale Shopping Centre
Toronto – Canadian intimates and activewear brand Knix has announced the opening of its latest retail pop-up at Yorkdale Shopping Centre, marking the company’s fifteenth store across North America. The new 1,800-square-foot location reflects Knix’s ongoing expansion plans, which include over 20 new North American stores scheduled to open in the next three years.
Joanna Griffiths, Knix’s Founder and President, emphasized the significance of bringing the brand closer to local customers. “Community has remained at the heart of Knix since day one,” Griffiths said. “This location is one of the many ways we’re continuing to serve our customers, who may have never shopped with us in person before, in our hometown of Toronto.”
Designed to foster an intimate and welcoming environment, the store emphasizes customer service, offering personalized fittings and guidance on the full range of Knix products. The layout includes dedicated areas for bras, underwear, and activewear, along with a section for Knix’s teen-focused brand, Kt by Knix. Reflecting Knix’s commitment to inclusivity, mannequins in a range of sizes and skin tones are featured throughout the store.
Nicole Tapscott, Knix’s recently appointed Chief Marketing Officer, highlighted the store’s debut as ideal for the holiday season. “We’re thrilled to open this pop-up location just in time for the holidays,” she said. “We’ve made sure to highlight Toronto’s fan-favourites ahead of the gifting season, ensuring our customers can spot their go-to Knix products with ease.”
The new Yorkdale location will showcase Knix’s seasonal holiday collection, which includes cozy modal lounge and sleepwear sets, gossamer lace lingerie, and popular bras and leakproof underwear in rich holiday hues and festive prints. The collection launch also coincides with Knix’s holiday campaign featuring actress, producer, and bestselling author Gabrielle Union, the brand’s official ambassador. Additionally, Knix’s recently introduced customizable shapewear will be available, offering up to eight adjustable configurations for optimal comfort and fit during the holiday season.
