Kim Roberts Stars in Gripping Post-Apocalyptic Drama All The Lost Ones
Toronto, ON – Acclaimed Canadian actress Kim Roberts takes center stage in the thought-provoking new film All The Lost Ones, where she portrays Nancy, a loving mother and aunt who has long cherished her family’s cabin in the woods of North Bay. The cabin now becomes a place of refuge as Nancy joins a group of survivors navigating a dangerous journey to escape an anti-government militia.
Set in a world devastated by climate disaster and civil war, All The Lost Ones paints a hauntingly realistic picture of a future shaped by environmental collapse and political upheaval. Civilians are forced into hiding as the United Conservancy, a powerful anti-government militia, seizes control of half the country. Among the displaced are Nia (Jasmine Matthews) and her sister Penny (Vinessa Antoine), who have been hiding with family, friends, and neighbors until their safe haven is discovered. Confronted with the militia’s threat, the group faces an agonizing choice: surrender or risk the perilous journey to find the rumored resistance movement. For Nia, the stakes are even higher as she grapples with life-altering news that could shape her future.
Directed by Mackenzie Donaldson, the film combines a thrilling narrative with a powerful sociopolitical message, reflecting on the potential consequences of climate change and civil unrest. Produced by Electric Panda Entertainment and written by Cheryl Meyer and Anthony Grant, the film also stars Douglas Smith, Stephen Ogg, Devon Sawa, and Sheila McCarthy.
“All The Lost Ones masterfully captures the transition from moments of peace to the harsh realities of survival, offering a stark look at humanity’s resilience and vulnerabilities in the face of catastrophe,” said Donaldson.
The film premiered in Vancouver and will make its Toronto debut with a week-long theatrical run at the Carlton Cinema starting November 29. Following its theatrical release, All The Lost Ones will stream exclusively on Paramount+ beginning December 13.
