Jeremy and Jazzy Launch #Hopscotch4KidsChallenge to Support SickKids Foundation

Toronto – The beloved CBC Kids series Jeremy and Jazzy is kicking off its second season with a heartwarming initiative to support childhood cancer research. In celebration of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the show is partnering with the SickKids Foundation to launch the #Hopscotch4KidsChallenge.

Season 2 of Jeremy and Jazzy premieres on September 2, 2024, with a special episode titled “Hopscotch,” featuring a guest appearance by the renowned Canadian band Barenaked Ladies. The episode’s title track, also called “Hopscotch,” will be part of a new album releasing on the same day. This new season will bring 70 episodes, including a Halloween special and a holiday special, aimed at delighting young viewers with fresh content and engaging music.

To mark the debut of the new season and support SickKids Foundation, Jeremy and Jazzy are inviting families across the country to participate in the #Hopscotch4KidsChallenge. From September 2 to 30, participants can upload videos of themselves playing hopscotch to Instagram or TikTok, using the hashtag #Hopscotch4KidsChallenge. For every video shared, $5 will be donated to SickKids Foundation, up to a total of $10,000.

Jeremy Fisher, one half of the show’s dynamic duo, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration: “We’re thrilled to launch Season 2 with this exciting challenge. It’s a fun way to engage with our audience and support an important cause at the same time.”
